Negociant provides a diverse range of services to businesses and the local community. Negociant’s team recognised the need to modernise their website — which was very text-heavy and built using a simple DIY template-based tool. Many potential customers would call Negociant’s phone line, utilising resources, asking simple questions and querying the businesses’ ability to provide their services.
Negociant’s website primarily focused on its logistics operation while vaguely referencing Negociant’s other entities. They wanted a more marketing-focused site that instilled trust while selling their services across all their enterprises.
Expanding the narrative.
Unique pages were created for each business unit explaining its services with location and contact details. The logistics page also includes details about Negociant’s handling process with an FAQ and iconography to reduce previous confusion regarding their services.
Within the first three months of relaunching the website, each business unit appeared in local SERP and maps. Prospective clients for Negociant’s logistics services had fewer questions relating to pricing or services and went straight to procurement, leading to an increased conversion rate. In addition, business units that previously did not have a web presence saw improved sales. For example, Dental—Negociant’s medical facility—became one of the website’s highest-viewed web pages.
