Portfolio microsite for a branding agency
Ground needed to showcase their latest and greatest work.
Ground is a brand strategy and design studio. They’ve collaborated on several projects in the past with Smith-Cordell Design. This time, Ground approached wanting a fresh build for their website.
Ground’s previous website featured rich case studies; however, with their increasing workload, they found it challenging to find the time to create content for them. This led to them not showing their latest and greatest work. For their new site, they wanted a simple solution allowing them to display an image or video to represent a recent project without the need to create a case study.
A horizontal, infinite scrolling portfolio.
Ground provided Smith-Cordell Design with the design for the site. Smith-Cordell Design developed the website featuring a horizontal, infinite scrolling interaction, showcasing Ground’s recent projects. To create a better user experience for mobile users, the projects are displayed in a vertical orientation on smaller devices. In addition, a content management system was set up to allow Ground to add new projects as and when they wish with ease.
