Better UX with responsive restaurant menus
A public house focusing on seasonal fare with a farm-to-table approach.
Adam and Eve was opened by Bart & Taylor in late 2021 with only a temporary holding page while they focused on getting their operations in place. As soon as Christmas was out of the way, the team wanted a fully functioning website that would help convert prospective guests into paying customers. The goal was to design and build a responsive website that maintained the brand values, showcased the food offering, and integrated Bart & Taylor’s reservation system.
A fully responsive design.
During the discovery meeting with Bart & Taylor, it was clear that User Experience was of the utmost importance to their team. As a result, it was decided that, unlike most restaurant websites, the Adam and Eve website wouldn’t feature PDF food and drink menus. Instead, the menu designs were recreated with HTML and CSS, rendering them fully responsive and equally pleasurable to view on mobile devices. In addition, this meant that guests could still use the website navigation and book a table directly from the menu pages.
